Tigers are victorious in conference action

The Tigers will host Hollister on Friday evening in the final Big 8 West contest before returning to the Big 8 next year. Five members, Marshfield, Logan-Rogersville, Reeds Spring, Hollister and Springfield Catholic will be leaving the Big 8 for new conferences, leaving nine members in the Big 8. Nevada, along with former Big 8 members Lamar, Seneca, East Newton, Monett, Aurora, Mt. Vernon, Cassville and McDonald County will form the new Big 8 to give each team eight conference games. Each team will have one open date to play a team from out of conference.
