Lamar fifth graders to face Seneca in “Super Bowl”

The Lamar fifth grade Tiger team came out ahead 30-0 in a battle against Mt. Vernon on Saturday, Oct. 14. This fifth grade team has a been a joy to feature since their beginning in third grade and it will definitely be fun to watch them as they advance their football careers heading into junior and varsity play. The Tigers scored over 150 points so far this season, with their opponents only managing to score less than 50. These amazing boys will be playing their “Super Bowl” against Seneca on Saturday, Oct. 28, 4 p.m., at Thomas M. O’Sullivan Stadium. Be sure to come out and cheer them on. Also playing that Saturday be the Lamar sixth grade Tigers, with their game time set for 5:30 p.m.
