Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger Lamar Parents as Teachers “Touch a Truck” event was held at the Lamar City Park on Thursday, Oct. 26, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., in conjunction with Lamar Parks and Rec and Picnic in the Park. Children were encouraged to wear their costumes to the park as goodies were handed out at each station where work trucks and vehicles of all kinds could be found.
