Lamar runners host district cross country meet

The Class 3 District 2 cross country meet was hosted by the Lamar Tigers on Saturday, Oct. 28, at Jeremy’s Creek Golf Course. As a team, the Tiger boys finished third, with the girls team taking second. Both advanced to run at State to be held in Columbia on Saturday, Nov. 4. Be sure to watch future editions of the paper to see how these fierce competitors fared at State.
