Lamar 11th grade students visited the Missouri State Capitol on Thursday, Nov. 2. While there they toured the Supreme Court of Missouri, the State Capitol and the Highway Patrol Museum. At the capitol they learned about the legislative process, went to the dome and whispering gallery and the House lounge. At the highway patrol they learned its history and watched a safe driving video about distracted driving and drunk driving. Missouri Senator Curtis Trent sponsored the pizza to feed the group.
