Golden City celebrates the Christmas season

Photos by Sharon Wingert The Golden City Fire Department shone as they presented a spectacular Christmas parade at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2. The theme of the parade was “Ignite The Spirit of Christmas”, with those participating traveling down Main Street and ending at the fire department for various other festivities that were taking place throughout the day. A long line of vehicles, floats, bands, heavy duty equipment, emergency equipment and many others delighted the spectators that lined the route.
