ANITA SUE LINTNER

LAMAR- A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, at the Thiebaud meeting rooms for Anita Sue Lintner, 64, Lamar, who died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2023. The family will receive visitors prior to the service, beginning at 3 p.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Lintner; her children, Jennifer Hicks and husband Troy, Lamar, Melissa Little and husband Brian, Carthage, Colten Lintner, Joplin and Seth Lintner and Aezia, Lamar and grandchildren, Tre McAfee and Priscilla, Ethan McAfee, Ryan Owensby, Alex McAfee, Jarrett Little, Nathan Little, McKinley Bishop, Emily Little, Paislee Lintner, Grayson Lintner, Maggie Cowan, Jonah Cowan and Bruno Lintner. She is also survived by siblings, Buster Waring, Stockton and Joyce Logan, Lenexa, Kan.; sisters-in-law, Donna Stewart and Carla Lintner, both of Lamar, as well as a large extended family and many close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Jeannie Rhodes and a brother, Robert “Bobby” Waring.
Mrs. Lintner was born Nov. 2, 1959, in Lamar, to Frank and Anna (Geisler) Waring. She grew up in Iantha and was a lifetime resident of Barton County. She married Robert Lintner on March 2, 1990, in Miami, Okla.
She worked many years for O’Sullivan Industries before changing careers. She began working for Cox Barton County Hospital in 2000 and later graduated with her Paramedic License in 2005. She was a dedicated employee of Med One Clinic at Cox Barton County Hospital for 25 years.
She enjoyed being near the water with her toes in the sand, taking trips with her girlfriends but more than anything, she loved being with her family.
