Lamar Methodist Church provides Christmas Day dinner

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger An abundance of blessings were extended to the community by the Lamar Methodist Church, as they served 675 meals on Christmas Day, Monday, Dec. 25. The meals were offered in a variety of ways, with a total of 407 meals being delivered, 170 meals being picked up at the church and 98 individuals that chose to dine-in at the church’s Family Life Center. This dinner could not happen without the incredible help provided by the multitude of volunteers that come together to ensure its success and from the many donations that were received. The community is fortunate to benefit from this yearly ministry.
