Ice jam on the “Big Muddy”

Drone photo by Joe Davis Terry Moore came in last week to inform the paper that following the recording of 1.2 inches of precipitation., with ice measuring up to six inches in places, a major ice jam had occurred near his homestead, five miles east of Hwy. 160. He noted that to his knowledge, in the 60 years that he has been on the property, this has never happened before. Many also noted the mass quantities of ice built up underneath the Muddy Creek bridge going west of town.
