WARD E. RINNER, CNA

LAMAR- Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 1, at Daniel Funeral Home for Ward E. Rinner, 60, Lamar, who died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024, in Carthage. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Lamar.
The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m.
Contributions are suggested and made payable to St. Luke's Nursing Home, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include three sons, Christopher Rinner, Springfield, Tristin Rinner, Marionville and Nolan Daughenbaugh, Centralia; one daughter, Jesika Rinner, Lamar; three stepsons, Nathan Helvey, Cody Helvey and Zachary Helvey; one granddaughter, Novalee Ann Rinner, Springfield; one brother, Kevin Rinner and wife Lynn Ann, Oceanside, Calif.; one sister, Karen Rinner, Newport, Vermont, along with a host of friends and co-workers.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Stacey Jo Rinner.
Mr. Rinner was born Aug. 13, 1963, in Coshocton, Ohio to Ward Elijah Rinner and Irma Jean (Guilliams) Rinner.
He worked as a certified nurse aide at St. Luke's Nursing Home in Carthage and formerly worked as a CNA at Truman Healthcare in Lamar and Dade County Nursing Home in Greenfield. He loved fishing and being outside any chance he got, he also loved attending his kid's sporting events. He was a huge fan of the Los Angeles Chargers, loved to cook (and clean).
