Proposition 1 passes in Barton County

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger After much hard work getting the word out to the public regarding Proposition 1, the results were fruitful as it was successfully approved with 683 votes against 451 no votes. The proposition was on the April 2 General Municipal Ballot. Emma Johnson helped with the recording of the votes up on the chalkboard Tuesday evening, which is a longtime tradition.
