Sun shines bright for Picnic in the Park

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger After the rainfall that occurred during April’s Picnic in the Park, it turned out to be a beautiful day on Thursday, May 23, as many took advantage of the variety of food trucks that were set up at the Lamar City Park. Several enjoyed lunch or dinner, with others enjoying both. The monthly Picnic in the Park is something that everyone looks forward to. The next one will be held Thursday, June 27. Most trucks are available from 11 a.m. until sold out and menus can be found on the Lamar City Park facebook page.
