DONALD LARAY VINSON

LAMAR- A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, at Konantz Warden Funeral Home for Donald LaRay Vinson, 76, Lamar, who died Thursday, May 30, 2024.

A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Survivors include his siblings, Wanda Joyce Hunt and husband Lloyd, Nevada, Mo. and James Vinson, Lamar.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Carol Smith, Martha Burris and Patricia Schmoranz.

Mr. Vinson was born in Lamar to Delera (Howard) and James Vinson. He grew up in Lamar and Golden City and was a 1965 graduate of Golden City High School. After high school he worked in several places including Golden City Business Forms, Job Corp, O’Sullivan Industries and RSI.

He was a huge fan of the Yankees and the Packers. He like to listen to Buck Owens and other country music, was an avid reader and traveled the United States with his mother and brother.

He attended the Assembly of God Churches in Golden City and Lamar and Living Nazarene Church of Lamar.
