Ribbon cutting held at Found: a thrift with a purpose

The Barton County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on Thursday, May 30, at 12 noon, welcoming Found: a thrift with a purpose to the community. Refreshments and drawings were also held during the open house. The store, located on the east side of the Lamar square at 1013 Gulf St., offers “Restored “a vintage and repurposed section w/Country Chic Paint. Hours of operation are closed Mondays and Tuesdays for donations by request and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for donations only. Open store hours are Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 12 noon. They are closed on Sundays. Be sure to stop by and welcome them to the community.
