Fireworks light up the sky over First Baptist

Photos courtesy of James Epple A spectacular ending at 9 p.m. on Wednesday evening, July 3, at the First Baptist Church was worth waiting for as a large fireworks display was held following the various other events offered during the 7th annual Faith Family & Fireworks show. The day started off at 6 p.m. with hot dogs, chips and water and the large church property held a multitude of participants that enjoyed the free offerings provided throughout the evening. This ministry has proven to be a big draw over the years and the church is happy to be able to provide the community with something of this multitude. The church is located at 1301 E. 6th St., in Lamar, and they would love to have you visit one of their services.
