Surviving are her daughters, Susan Konantz Latta, Michelle “Mickie” Konantz Seligsohn (Howard), and Marty Konantz (Julio Mojita); daughter-in-law, Sue Konantz; eight grandchildren, Pam Konantz, Leslie Konantz, Judy Rosochacki, Angela “Angie” Boyte (Tina Luketic), Lisa Myers (Frank), Tracy Grey (Mark), Kim Kinard (Bern) and Dena Frye; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter and two nieces and two nephews.

Born December 25, 1926 in Sioux City, Iowa, she was a daughter of the late Beatrice Greer Streeter and James Monroe Streeter. She was also preceded in death by her first husband and father to their four children, Harold J. Konantz; second husband, Russell W. Rand; son, Ronald J. Konantz; half-brothers, Gile and Floyd Grooms and a granddaughter, Teri Hill.

Mrs. Rand was a military wife and housewife. Her life was bigger than words alone can say and her loss will be forever felt. Her reflection will be seen in the eyes of each other and their children as they strive to become better people every day - the same way she did and in that, hopefully, peace and comfort will be found from her loss.

She enjoyed being around people and never met a stranger. She was dearly loved by her family, friends and all who knew her. Her grandchildren provided her with so much love and joy and she truly cherished every moment with them. She was the heart and soul of her family.
