Krystal Roby, a math instructor at Lamar High School, was recently recognized by Arvest Bank’s We Love Teachers” campaign. Thanks to this award, Roby will be able to add even more real-life projects to her life skills math class. Arvest Bank is proud to recognize Mrs. Roby, as her hard work makes a difference to students every day. Photo by Barton County Chamber of Commerce/Kristy Robertson It was a warm but pleasant day as many took the opportunity to visit the Wyatt Earp FallFest that was held at the Wyatt Earp Park on the northeast side of the Lamar square on Saturday, Oct. 5. Festivities continued throughout the day including vendors, food trucks, wild west reenactments, western music, a baby and toddler show and dog show, along with a lip sync showdown and a speech by Wyatt Earp himself. The day was deemed a success with many already looking forward to next year. The event is put on by the Barton County Chamber of Commerce with much help from the community.
