Photos by James Epple The PBR Challenger Series made a stop in Lamar on Friday and Saturday evenings, Aug. 16 and 17, at the Freeman Outdoor Event Center at the Stompin’ Grounds. Professional Rodeo Announcer Jeff Lee kept the event rolling along while riders competed against some extremely ornery bulls as they participated in the Lamar PBR 8 Second Chute Out. Competitors represented parts of the United States, El Salvador, Guatemala, Brazil and Australia, with the livestock coming from Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri stock contractors.
