JASPER-A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Monmouth Cemetery in Monmouth, Kan., for Terri Rae Green, 56, Jasper, who died Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, at Joplin Health and Rehabilitation.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 104 W. Main St., in Weir, Kan.

Survivors include one sister, Kathi Gale, Joplin; a niece, Michelle Myers and husband Paul, Jasper; two great-nieces, Katie Simpson, Joplin and Barbara Myers, Jasper and two great-nephews, Chris Jenkins, Lockwood and Michael Simpson, Webb City.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Ms. Green was born July 15, 1959, in Columbus, Kan., to Johnnie Everett and Patsy (Tillman) Green. She had been a resident of Jasper for 1 ½ years, having moved from McCune, Kan. She was a graduate of Pittsburg State University, where she earned her Master of Science degree in Education.

She loved to work with children and had most recently worked for Spring River Mental Health and Wellness in Columbus, Kan., prior to her retirement.
