EMERY “CODGER” SCHRADER
LOCKWOOD-Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery for Emery “Codger” Schrader, 92, Lockwood, who died Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lockwood Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice, Dade County Nursing Home or to the Alzheimer's Association.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Schrader, Lockwood; three sons, Jerry Schrader, Lamar, William Schrader, Golden City and Robert Schrader, Lockwood; seven grandchildren, Nicholas Schrader, Gabriel Schrader, Jennifer Schrader, Jason Schrader, Jonathon Schrader, Jeremy Schrader and Heather Leeper and two great-grandchildren, Baleigh Leeper and Elliott Schrader.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Gloodt.
Mr. Schrader was born Dec. 27, 1923, in Sylvania, to William and Sophie Schrader. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He retired as a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.
He married Alice Massman on Feb. 27, 1949, in Lockwood.
