Due to a chance of inclement weather, Lamar High School moved its graduation ceremonies held Sunday, May 18, from the Thomas M. O’Sullivan Football Stadium to the high school gym. Also, in order for people to be able to view the graduation, the ceremony was live-streamed. Commencement began at 5 p.m., followed with the Pledge of Allegiance being led by Senior Class President Aiden Sheat. Invocation was given by Carson Sturgell, senior class vice president. Lamar High School Principal Jennifer Beem then welcomed the audience, followed with the Honor Graduate Address given by Isabel Osborne and the Senior Address being given by Aiden Sheat prior to the presentation of diplomas. Class officers for 2025 are Aiden Sheat, president; Carson Sturgell, vice president; Katie Shields, secretary; Addison Brown, treasurer and STUCO representatives Avery Reed, Sophie Bronson, Ellianna Griffith, Luke Tabakian, Trey Shaw, Isabel Osborne, Kynlee McCulloch, Eleese Ortega, Mikayla Madison and Kayelee Crane.
