CLIFFORD SEATON

LIBERAL-A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Worsley Cemetery, south of Bronaugh, for Clifford H. Seaton, 69, Liberal, who died Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin.

Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar.

Survivors include his wife, Susan; a son, Robert Seaton, Liberal; two brothers, David Seaton and wife Judy, Mesa, Ariz. and Philip Seaton and wife Jennifer, Lees Summit and one grandson, Derek Seaton.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Seaton was born Aug. 28, 1946, at Nevada, Mo., to Howard Mortimer Seaton Jr. and Edith Naomi (Yoast) Seaton. Growing up, he had the opportunity to live in several different lighthouses because his father was in the Coast Guard. He worked as a maintenance supervisor with WATCO, Pittsburg, Kan., and also worked at Thorco Industries and National Mills. Most recently he had worked as a greeter at the 15th Street Walmart in Joplin.

He married Susan Kay Moulder on June 3, 1972, at Roach, Mo.
