Part of the fun of the hunt is getting to look through the bounty afterwards. Groups of families gathered to see what they had received and if they were one of the lucky ones with an egg that had money inside. The hunt is divided into four age groups, with the older kids hunting on the other side of the bridge and the younger ones hunting on the expansive lawn across from the shelter house. After the arrival of the Easter Bunny, many took advantage to visit with him, both prior to and after the hunt. Many took advantage after the hunt to enjoy hot dogs and a drink.
