Carly Dunham, a student at Lamar High School, was chosen out of multiple submissions in this year’s Missouri State Capitol as part of the annual Senate Art Competition. Each Missouri Senator selects one student’s artwork to be showcased, making the event both highly competitive and prestigious. Those selected works are then displayed in the Capitol in Jefferson City for an entire year, allowing visitors from across the state to view the talent of Missouri’s young artists. Dunham is pictured with District 20 State Senator Curtis Trent.
