REV. KIMBERLY ANNE SAUTER

Rev. Kimberly Anne Sauter, age 65 of Lamar passed away May 14, 2026, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin MO. 
Kim was born April 15, 1961, in Hemet, California to Reita McIntire and Jay Haymond (Ed Laundeane). On March 13, 1981, Kim married Rev. Robert (Bob) Dean Sauter, for 45 years, who together spent a lifetime serving and ministering the gospel of Jesus Christ. 
Kim’s early years she worked as a Candy Striper at Hemet Hospital, worked at KFC, and then found herself as a Bank teller. She and her husband co-managed ARC Mobile Home Park, where she worked as an administrator, She worked as an administrator at KB Tech. and worked along side of Robert as a professional associate in his architectural business, However, the most rewarding work without question, was their many years of dedication to ministry.
Kim is preceded in death by her parents Reita Mclitire, and Jay Haymond and her granddaughter Sara Sauter. Kim is survived by her husband Robert (Bob) Dean Sauter of Lamar, MO. Three daughters Kathryn Hawke of Lamar MO, Amber (and Steve) McGough of Hemet, CA and Ashley (and Simon) Gomez of Seymour, WI. and ten grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings Pam and Kevin Hall, Vickie Gergen, Lonnie and Ruth Smith, Barbara Hirschfelder, James (Jim ) Parnell, Tanya and Jason Evans, Shannon Russell, Walter (Bud) and Jennifer Tucker, Sheldon Tucker, Larry and Becky McLntyre.
Kim loved to cook and bake and was a very generous woman. She loved to celebrate people. She always had creative ideas to encourage people with her gifts. She viewed her kitchen table as an altar. She was always baking someone happy. Her promotion into heaven is her gain, but for a time our loss. She will be missed, and our memories of her cherished.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Living Word Church, 42 NE 1st Lane, Lamar, Mo., on June 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. by Pastor Mark Cummins and Dr. Tim Leeper.
