Lamar Democrat

The Lamar Democrat will feature its 2016 graduation edition for area schools on Wednesday, May 4. This section will include schools from Lamar, Liberal, Golden City, Lockwood, Jasper and Sheldon. In conjunction with the graduation section, the Lamar Democrat will once again feature its complete saturation of every home in Barton County, as well as Lockwood. This service has been offered several times over the past couple of years and has always been well received. It is the paper's intention to offer this at least every other month throughout the year.

Several advertisers take this opportunity to promote their business and if anyone is interested in advertising, now is the time to do so by contacting Melissa Little at 417-682-5529, ext. 62, or by emailing her at melissa@lamardemocrat.com. On May 4 the Lamar Democrat will be mailed out to literally several thousand households that might not otherwise receive the paper. The deadline to advertise in this edition is 10 a.m. Monday morning, May 2.

Stories may also be submitted to run in this edition; however, depending on the amount of content received and the time in which events happen, the printing of the articles in this edition are solely up to the discretion of the editor.

If for any reason a paid subscriber does not receive a paper on this day, and believe it or not that has been known to happen, please feel free to call me, Melody, at 417-682-5529, ext. 60 and I will personally make sure you receive a paper. There will also be a subscription drive for new subscribers at this time, so be sure to watch for the May 4 edition for prices.

The Lamar Democrat staff looks forward to showing their appreciation to the community by presenting this saturation edition. We hope you enjoy it.
