DANIEL L. SLOTTERBACK JR.

LAMAR-Services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Cornerstone Baptist Church for Daniel Lewis Slotterback, Jr., 58, Lamar, who died Monday, May 9, 2016, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin. Pastor Jack Slade will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home.

Contributions are suggested to the family, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his former wife, Christina Slotterback and a son, Kenneth Slotterback, Lamar.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Slotterback was born Feb. 7, 1958, at Abington, Pennsylvania, to Daniel Lewis Slotterback Sr. and Anna (Almonrader) Slotterback. He graduated Abington High School in 1976 and had attended college. He had worked in sales for a semi-trailer parts company, as well as sales in a janitorial supply company before becoming disabled due to poor health. He loved playing golf and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
