Barton County 4-H presents checks to city

Lamar Democrat/Richard Cooper Barton County 4-H reimbursed the city for assistance in installing eight new benches and flower pots around the city square. One check for $1,000 came from the Missouri 4-H Foundation. The second came from four donors, who were Barton County Foundation, FCS Financial, Missouri 4-H Foundation, and the Missouri Department of Agriculture. The reimbursement was a part of Monday night’s city council meeting. The 4-H youth Teen Leaders making the presentation are, left to right, Blaine Shaw, Matthew Morgan, Mayor Kent Harris, Kyler Cox, Kelsie Morgan, and Noah Shaw.
