Liberal High School seniors receive scholarships

Photo for Lamar Democrat by Willis Strong Jena Jungmann received the Liberal Area Civic Group Scholarship at awards day, held May 13. She was salutatorian of the 2016 Liberal High School graduating class. Presenting the scholarship to her is Jordan Dickey, a member of the Liberal Area Civic Group and also principal of Bronaugh schools. Jungmann plans to attend Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kan. Jungmann was also awarded her associate of arts from Crowder College during commencement exercises held May 15.
