The Gammon family of Lamar recently made a generous pop tab donation to Ronald McDonald House. When asked if they knew what was done with the pop tabs, their answer was spot on, “The tabs are recycled for money,” said Jenson Worsley. Worsley was absolutely correct! Ronald McDonald House accepts pop tabs that they then recycle and the money goes to operating costs for the house. Ronald McDonald House is a “home away from home” for seriously ill children being treated at nearby hospitals. Pictured left to right are Jensen Worsley, BJ Gammon, Cindy Gammon and Thomas Gammon.
