LEONARD QUADE

CARTHAGE-Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Weng Funeral Chapel in Jasper for Leonard “Lefty” Quade, 82, Carthage, who died Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at his home. Burial was in Fasken Cemetery.

Survivors include two brothers, Ben Quade and Don Quade, both of Carthage and a sister, Alene Scott, Golden City.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Art Quade.

Mr. Quade was born Nov. 1, 1933, at Golden City, to Ben and Rosa (Beerly) Quade. He was a retired salesman for Hussmann Co. He was a Navy veteran and a member of the Carthage VFW Post 2590. He was a member of Center Point Christian Church.

He married Judith Shields on Dec. 7, 1981, at Miami, Okla. She died Feb. 3, 2006.
