Nine members of the Golden City Class of 1947 met on May 28, at Sharon's Restaurant in Jasper, where they enjoyed a delicious noontime meal. Those attending were, front row, left to right, Joyce (Phipps) Ogden, Maxine (Winder) Stratton, Mary Ann (Leivan) Wade, Jerry Weldy, Florene (Owens) Sherer; back row, left to right, Gaylord Parrack, Karl Stratton, Bobby Compton and Leona (Walker) Troop.
