MARIE A. KERBY
JOPLIN-Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, at Rosebank Cemetery in Mulberry, Kan., for Marie Annette Kerby, 80, Joplin, who died Wednesday, June 29, 2016.
Arrangements were under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home, Lamar.

Survivors include a nephew, Michael Ohlhausen, Joplin and nieces, Diana Noe, Galena, Kan. and Pamela Riggs, Pryor, Okla.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marjorie June Kerby and A. Allene Sinfellow.
Mrs. Kerby was born Oct. 16, 1935, in Mindenmines, to William and Rose (Chase) Shackelford. She lived at the family homestead on South 43 Hwy. until 1967, when she moved to Joplin to be with her sister. She was a secretary at Pittsburg State University until she retired in June of 1998.
She was an avid country and gospel music fan and was very involved in fan clubs to support her favorites.
