Golden City recognized for sesquicentennial

During Golden Harvest Days on Saturday, July 16, Missouri State Representative Mike Kelley presented Golden City's Mayor Dixie Taylor with a house resolution honoring the first lady mayor and the residents of Golden City, as they celebrate the town's 150th anniversary. Taylor commented that it was an honor to accept the resolution on behalf of the community and its citizens. She expressed her thanks to Kelley for the presentation and his continued support of Harvest Days. Taylor said, “It is a pleasure and honor to be mayor in my home town of Golden City”.
