CrossFit kicks off school year

Donations from Christy Heins (right) with CrossFit Lamar were recently accepted by Lamar West Elementary School Principal Mary Clark and East Primary School Principal Zach Lemert. Heins had challenged her CrossFit clients to donate school supplies in trade for a class session. At least $200 in supplies were presented to the principals, along with a matching monetary donation from CrossFit. The money will be used on individual student needs deemed necessary by the school counselors.
