The circus is coming to town and as a promotion, Skeeter the clown visited area schools on Friday afternoon, Sept. 2, entertaining the children and producing lots of laughs. During one of the assemblies Skeeter had two children from each grade level balance a peacock feather on their finger and of course, the feather fell quickly. Skeeter taught them how to focus their eyes on the eye of the feather and to never look away. After that, they all balanced the feather. Pictured are Maylea Davey, a third grader in Mrs. Achey's class and to the left, Jace Talbott, a fourth grader in Mrs. O'Sullivan's class.
