EDWARD DEAN MCCREA

Edward Dean McCrea, age 93, passed away on November 14, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond (R.J.) and Flossie McCrea of Lamar Missouri and his wife Mary.

Ed worked as an Aircraft Assembler in Baltimore and Kansas City before joining the Army Air Corp in 1943. In the Army Air Corp he was a member of the 450th Bomb Group, 721st squadron, known as The Cotton Tails. As a reflection of his service to his country his name can be found on the Henderson County Veteran's Memorial Plaza in Athens, Texas, where he lived until passing.

He is survived by children Larry, Raymon and Darlene, grandchildren Ryan, Rachel, Dyan and Michael and great grandchildren, Brodi, Carli and Elliana

Memorial Grave Site Service will be in Lamar, Missouri, date and time will be Saturday June 13, 2015 at 3:00 p.m., at Lake Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted.
