MINDENMINES-Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Liberal City Cemetery for Patricia “Pat” Ann Morgan, 60, who died unexpectedly at her home in Mindenmines on Monday, Oct. 31, 2016.

Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

Contributions are suggested to Barton County Humane Society, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph, of the home; three sons, Arnold Fitzgerald Rightnowar, Joplin; Randy Lee Rightnowar, West Plains and Staff Sgt. Dean Jordan Rightnowar and wife Amber, Manhattan, Kan.; one daughter, Tammy Marie Roberts and husband Kenny, Licking; four sisters, Carol Sue Schmidt, West Plains, Kathy Simmons, Joplin, Debby Wray and husband Bill, Tacoma, Wash. and Bobbie Jo Tucker, St. Louis; grandchildren, Christopher Joe Clark and Shayla Clark, both of Licking, Ainn Jordan Rightnowar, Ethan Rightnowar, Megan Rightnowar and Tristan Rightnowar, all of Manhattan, Kan. and Rya Lynn Rightnowar, West Plains; stepchildren, Michael Doane Morgan and Jami Leigh Slice, both of Seattle, Wash. and Scott Fredrick Morgan, Phoenix, Ariz. and one great-grandchild, Raylynn, Licking.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael Simmons.

Mrs. Morgan was born May 14, 1956, in Carthage, Texas. She had attended college for two years and worked hard at several jobs to support and rear her four children. She had worked as a motel manager, a cook at several restaurants, was a childcare provider, worked at a domestic violence center and was a homemaker. She was reared as a Southern Baptist. She was known as being “lucky” at bingo and lottery.

She married Ralph Morgan in Fairfield, Iowa, in 2010 and that had moved to Mindenmines just six weeks ago.
