LAMAR-Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Daniel Funeral Home for Nelma Jean Wilson, 89, Lamar, who died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, at Barton County Memorial Hospital. Dr. Mark Turnbough will officiate. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, near Milford.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to Shriner's Burn Hospital, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include a son, Darren Wilson and wife Janet, Granbury, Texas; a daughter, Linda King, Lamar; three step-grandchildren, Cory, Heath and Lana; eight step-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Gaylord Dockery and a half sister, Joyce Hennessey.
Mrs. Wilson was born Dec. 6, 1926, in Milford, to Foster Marion “Bud” and Ruby Dollie (Grant) Dockery. She was a 1945 graduate of Lamar High School. She married Calvin Robert Wilson on Jan. 19, 1946, in Kansas City, Mo. He died in 2012.
She had worked as a stenographer at Sears in Kansas City. She had been an endowed member of Eastern Star and enjoyed quilting, crochet, taking care of her flowers and feeding the birds.
She and her husband were “very generous people”, helping a lot of family throughout the years.
