TIMOTHY MALONE

HEPLER, Kan.-A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, at Lighthouse of Worship Church, 525 Yale, Liberal, Mo., for Timothy Joseph Malone, 60, Hepler, who died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016.

Arrangements are under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home, Lamar, Mo.

Survivors include his wife, Julia, of the home; his mother, Birdie, Liberal, Mo.; one brother, Harold Malone, Jr. and wife Charlotte, Liberal, Mo.; two sons, John Malone and wife Kelly and David Malone and wife Julie, Kansas City, Mo.; four daughters, Angel West, Redfield, Elizabeth Reily and husband Mike, Fenton, Mo., Samantha Keene and husband David, McPherson and Tamara Lathrom, Hepler and 18 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Malone, Sr.; a brother, Tom Malone and a niece, Bethany Malone.

Mr. Malone was born July 24, 1956, in Independence, to Harold Edward, Sr. and Birdie Joan (Bryles) Malone. He attended school in Liberal, Mo., graduating in the class of 1974. After graduation he attended PSU, where he received a degree in drafting.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and talking on the CB radio. When he was able, he would attend Lighthouse of Worship Church in Liberal, Mo., with his mother. The children that grew up around him thought of him as a dad and a grandfather. He was a dear friend to many.

He married Julia Wiggans on Dec. 16, 1988, in Pittsburg.
