JASPER-Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Weng Funeral Chapel for Edward Neal Rush, 78, Jasper, who died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, at Joplin Gardens Care Center. Burial will be in Paradise Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, at the funeral chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Jasper FFA Chapter, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Rush; one son, Rocky Rush and wife Karen, Jasper; one daughter, Tami Maneval and husband Joel, Jasper; one brother, Ivan Rush and wife Doris, Scottsbluff, Neb.; grandchildren, Tyler, Shelby, Dayton and Tate and several step-children and step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two wives and two daughters, Saundra and Rhonda Rush, on Dec. 27, 1968.

Mr. Rush was born March 18, 1938, in Jasper County, to Walter and Anna (Isenmann) Rush. He was a farmer and had milked cows for 35 years. He was a Barton County Electric Coop board member for 20 years, a Pioneer seed dealer for 25 years and was a 4-H leader for the Lincoln 4-H club for many years. He was a member of the Jasper United Methodist Church.

He married Shirley Byerly on July 5, 1956. She died on Dec. 12, 1993. He married Myrna Sue Greenlee on Feb. 18, 1995. She died Sept. 2, 2012. He then married Jean Bauer on Nov. 8, 2014.
