LAMAR-A private service is planned for Frederick “Keith” Tedrick, 86, Lamar, who died Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at his home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Ione, of the home; one son, Robin Tedrick and wife Tina, Stratford, Iowa; two daughters, Kelly Tedrick, Lamar and Shelley Starmer and husband Shawn, Jasper; three sisters, Judy Sisler and husband Mike, Pekin, Ill., Joann Kadell, Alton, Ill. and Imogene Jones, Roxana, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeremey, Josh, Cody, Seth, Jordan and Baylee and nine great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Dontye, Nolan, Ayla, Allison, Montana, Dylan, Indie and Presley.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Mr. Tedrick was born Oct. 23, 1930, in Vandalia, Ill., to Fred and Alice (Belcher) Tedrick. He was the owner and operator of an outdoor amusement company. He loved to hunt, fish and build birdhouses, but his grandchildren were the love of his life. He was of the Lutheran faith.

He married Ella Ione Pruett on June 10, 1955, in Edwardsville, Ill.
