LAMAR-A private committal service will be held at a later date for Marlene Lucille Trudell, 66, Lamar, who died peacefully at her home, early Wednesday morning, Jan. 4, 2017, with her husband Terry at her side. The body has been cremated.

Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Trudell family, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Terry; a son, Frank Trudell and wife Luella, Golden City and six grandchildren, Michael Trudell, Terry Trudell, Crystal Trudell, Chad Trudell, Larissa DuLong and Desiree DuLong.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James Trudell; a daughter, Jolene (Trudell) DuLong and a brother, James Earl McBath.

Mrs. Trudell was born March 13, 1950, at Florence, Ariz., to James and Ila (Province) McBath. While living in Port Orchard, Wash., she met Navy Seaman Terrance Trudell and they were married Oct. 15, 1971. They made their home in Washington, Arizona and Missouri, moving to Lamar three years ago.

In addition to being a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, she had worked as a hab-tech in a group home while living in Arizona. She was a talented seamstress and chronicled great memories through her creative scrapbooking. She was an animal lover and had spoiled several dogs through the years.
