As a young man he was a fearless bull rider on the rodeo circuit, an avid outdoorsman who was at home at a campsite and an accomplished dog trainer who delighted in watching his bird dogs run. Music was a great influence throughout his life and his guitars were among his most prized possessions. He was a walking encyclopedia when it came to classic cars and had a passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, many of which he restored or built from the ground up. A hard-working man of many interests, talents and hobbies, his true devotion was his wife Becky and his family.
He married Rebecca Howell on Nov. 21, 2003, at Mulberry.
