Lamar Rotary Club awards four scholarships

Photo courtesy of Mike Gage The Lamar High School Senior Awards Assembly was held Friday morning, May 12, at the high school gymnasium. Mike Gage, a board member of Lamar Rotary, was in attendance to award the four scholarships. Pictured left to right, are Carmen Miller, Kip Roland, Jesse Compton and Cassidy Beem. Miller was awarded the Dr. Tom Carroll – Rotary Scholarship; Roland, the Ralph Davis – Rotary Scholarship; Compton, the Elgin Dermott – Rotary Vocational Scholarship and Beem, the Edison Kaderly – Rotary Scholarship. Each scholarship was in the amount of $500.
