WILLIAM CURTSINGER

LAMAR- Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Konantz Warden Funeral Home for William "Bill" H. Curtsinger, 76, Lamar, who died Thursday, May 18, 2017. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Donations may be made to Bethlehem Cemetery, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Erma Curtsinger; three children, Debbie Jenkins and husband Danny, Golden City, Carla Davis and husband Tim, Lamar and Henry Curtsinger and wife Donna, Golden City; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Troy and a sister-in-law, Margaret.
Mr. Curtsinger was born July 29, 1940, in Walkermine, Calif., to Henry and Nona Mae (Nash) Curtsinger. He was reared and went to school in Prairie Grove, Ark. He worked summers in the oil fields in Texas and in 1959 he went to work for Frank & Rhine Co., where he was an employee and part owner of the company until 1985. The company built and remodeled banks in the four-state area. At that time he retired from the company to farm full-time, where he raised cattle and had two pig nurseries for Murphy's until he was forced to retire in 2013 because of ill health from ALS.
He married Erma L. Pitts on Jan. 16, 1960, in Greenfield.
