MOORE, Okla.- Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 26, at Southern Hills Baptist Church for Patrick Henry DeCarlo, 80, Moore, who died Thursday, May 18, 2017. Dr. Douglas O. Melton officiated.

Arrangements were under the direction of Vondel Smith & Son Mortuary in Oklahoma City.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 60 years, Nancy DeCarlo, of the home; a son, Doug DeCarlo and wife Vernona; a daughter, Valerie Bowman; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Maurice DeCarlo, Jr.

Mr. DeCarlo was born April 10, 1937, in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from Lamar High School in Lamar, Mo., he honorably served his country in the United States Marine Reserve. He was employed in many management capacities for different grocery and retail stores, retiring in 2000 after 43 years of service. In his spare time he enjoyed such hobbies as playing golf, going to OU football and basketball games, watching the Yankees, playing his guitar and singing. He was known for his great sense of humor.

He served as president of the Moore Chamber of Commerce, as a Moore city council man and president of the Moore High School Booster Club, as well as many committees involving the city of Moore.

He married Nancy Day on July 16, 1957.
