Bird comes to roost at Lamar Democrat

Lamar Democrat/Melissa Little The Democrat has assumed another role for part of the summer, that of bird nursery. A determined robin has built her nest beneath the awning that extends out from our entrance, and just recently hatched her brood. The soon to be fledglings will accept food anytime, but Mama chooses to deliver it when no one is watching.
