TigerSharks compete at Joplin Stingrays Invitational

The Lamar TigerSharks competed at the Joplin Invitational on July 1 and 2. The team finished fifth overall in the "A" division out of 12 teams. The 13-14 Girls won first place in the 200 yard medley relay and in the 200 yard freestyle relay. Pictured, left to right, are Macy Bean, Mycah Beth Reed, Meghan Watson and Kaitlyn Davis. Reed also won the High Point Trophy for 13-14 Girls.

Lamar Tigers dominate Jasper
Treycen Coy, son of Matthew Coy and Angie Coy, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. In his spare time Treycen likes to play football, eat, play with his brothers and sisters in his yard and mow the lawn. His favorite college team is the Oklahoma Sooners and his favorite NFL team is the Kansas City Chiefs.
