WIC recognizes World Breastfeeding Week

Lamar Democrat/Melissa Little The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) nutrition program at Barton County Health Department invited the public to join them on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., for World Breastfeeding Week. They were set up in the parking lot of the health department and served snacks, as well as giving away prizes. Many came and took advantage of the complimentary items.
